BRIEF For this project, we were tasked to brand for a chosen event environment with consideration of dimension and space use for the experience of event attendees in our designs.

APPROACH Popular amongst young adults, music festivals are on the rise, and so is the drive to be more sustainable. The goal was to connect these two seemingly opposing forces together to inspire and participate in positive actions. Hive is created as a music festival to bring in the opportunity for people to connect with our earth in an empathetic way.

SOLUTION Because our target audience are young adults, I wanted to give the brand a more fun vibe with a name to match. I came to find the name “Hive.” Hive is perfect in that when we think of sustainability and the environment, we think of bees. It is also a symbol for a community that works together toward a goal. There’s a lot you can see in the logo. You can see a bee, a hive, and even sound-waves all coming together to reflect what Hive is all about and it’s mission.
